A custom built RUBY spec two-storey dwelling including landscaping, wine room and pool.
Built on a sub-divided block which was once home to the old coach house for the adjacent Queen Anne Villa Estate, our brief from the client was to maximize floor area on a moderate sized block without feeling boxed in by their neighbour’s. They had previously gone down the traditional architectural/tender/builder route for this home however found the process disconnected, long and expensive. Chasecrown provided a fixed price design and construct process with clarity around inclusions and specification. This gave them piece of mind moving forward and established a positive client/builder relationship.
Chasecrown opted to employ it’s traditional design language to the front façade given the heritage nature of the council zoning and whilst considering the clients brief throughout the design phase with special attention to the stairwell, wine room and connection of the open plan kitchen, living and dining room to the outside. Great attention was given to the northern glazing which provides a seamless transition between the inside and out creating a robust dining space that doubles as a dining room and alfresco. The result is a dwelling which perfectly fulfills the clients brief whilst fitting into its surroundings.
